I began my professional career as a Security Forces Specialist in the United States Air Force, where I developed discipline, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Following my service, I dedicated over a decade to my community as a firefighter before transitioning to the business sector. These roles taught me the importance of reliability, clear communication, and being someone others can depend on—principles I bring to every client relationship at WG Bookkeeping.
Before establishing my bookkeeping practice, I built a diverse entrepreneurial background that deepened my understanding of business operations and challenges. As a yacht broker in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, I honed my sales, negotiation, and client management skills by helping clients navigate complex transactions. Simultaneously, I pursued fix-and-flip property ventures, gaining hands-on experience in project management, budgeting, and coordinating multiple trades and contractors. I also owned and operated a staffing agency, where I managed payroll, compliance, and the logistics of running a people-focused business. These three ventures—each demanding financial acuity, operational discipline, and a deep understanding of cash flow—gave me firsthand insight into the real challenges small business owners face. That hard-won expertise directly benefits my bookkeeping clients today, as I understand not just the numbers, but the business decisions behind them.
Today, I combine my diverse professional background with specialized bookkeeping expertise to provide reliable financial management services to contractors and small business owners. Outside the office, I’m a devoted family man. I’m married to my wife and proud father of three sons and grandfather to two granddaughters. These relationships keep me grounded and remind me daily why strong, trustworthy service matters.
I’m an active person who enjoys outdoor pursuits—Golfing,fishing, and the company of my dog. These activities help me stay sharp and maintain the focus I bring to my work.
